The introductory workshop provides a comprehensive overview of eating disorders and exercise for health and medical professionals. This workshop will address 1) what is dysfunctional exercise; 2) what are the risks of dysfunctional exercise with comorbid disordered eating; 3) how to conduct a thorough assessment of dysfunctional exercise and disordered eating as well as 4) treatment planning for dysfunctional exercise.
